On the occasion of World Rabies Day (WRD), Intervet India Pvt. Ltd. (IIPL) organized rabies awareness program at various schools and colleges in Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and Hyderabad on 8th September 2007 to support Intervet International initiative at global level. Informative CDs/ printouts of presentation on rabies were prepared and distributed to these schools and other institutions. Volunteers from Intervet have participated in these events. Active questionnaire during presentation has enabled to get maximum attention of children. The main theme of the day was on “Working together to make Rabies history” via connecting classrooms globally through World Rabies Day.
