Description :
Highly effective anti-bacterial injection and oral solution. True broad-spectrum bactericidal agent, belongs to fluroquinolone group , effective against Gram positive, Gram negative and Mycoplasma infections in livestock and poultry.
Composition :
Floxidin 10% injection : Each ml contains - Enrofloxacin 100 mg
Floxidin 10% oral solution : Each ml contains - Enrofloxacin 100 mg
Indications :
Floxidin is suitable for treatment of wide variety of infections.
Livestock
- GI tract infections e.g. enteritis, calf scours.
- Respiratory infections e.g. pneumonia
- Urogenital infections e.g. metritis, cystitis
- Dermal infections e.g. bacterial dermatitis, pyoderma.
- Mastitis and Haemorhagic Septicaemia
Poultry
- Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
- CRD complicated with E. coli infections
- Colisepticaemia
- Salmonellosis
- Early Chick Mortality
Dosage :
Floxidin can be given once daily for 3-5 days.
Dosage regimen is as follows :
| Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep and Goat | 2.5 - 5 mg/kg body weight i.m.

| Dog/Cat (adult) | 5 mg/kg body weight i.m.
|
| Camel | 2.5 mg/kg body weight i.m.
|
| Poultry | 10 mg/kg body weight in drinking water |
Storage:
Store in a cool place. Protect from light.
Presentation :
Floxidin 10% injection : 15 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml multidose sterile vial
Floxdin 10% oral solution : 1 litre bottle and 5 litre jerry can
