Chikvit®

Description :
Water soluble vitamin and mineral supplement for poultry, especially developed to palliate the main causes of feed deficiencies encountered in tropical and sub-tropical breeding conditions.

Composition :
Each Gram of powder contains :
Vitamin A8000IU
Vitamin B₁1 mg
Vitamin B₂2.8 mg
Vitamin B₁₂5 mcg
Vitamin  D₃1500 IU
Vitamin E5 mg
Vitamin K₃5 mg
Vitamin PP12.5 mg
D. Calcium Pantothenate5 mg
Copper Sulphate 0.7 mg
Ferrous Sulphate 6.2 mg
Manganese Sulphate 3.8 mg
Zinc Sulphate 2.5 mg
Potassium Iodide 0.4 mg
Sorbitol 20 mg

Indications :

• Vitamin and mineral feed deficiencies in tropical and sub-tropical breeding conditions
• Prevention of stress (transport) and varoiys infections
• Vitamin replacement after treatment (e.g. against coccidiosis).
• Improvement of egg production and hatching results.
• Soluble form is particularly indicated in cases where rapid effects and quick results are required, such as anorexia due to tropical temperatures. For this purpose the quantity of Vitamin E has been more than tripled. 

In formulating Chikvit following three particular aspects were considered:

• A well balanced vitamin-mineral ratio
• Vitamin deficiency is seldom attributable to lack of a single vitamin but is normally a poly vitamin deficiency. Such conditions are directly influenced by the climatic conditions.
• Recent studies have shown that certain vitamin mixtures produce a synergistic effect. 

Dosage and Administration :
Prophylactic use ( routine treatment)
Broilers/layers : 0.5 mg per litre of drinking water during 3 to 7 days.
Curative use
Broilers  : 1 gm per litre of drinking water during 3 to 7 days
The medicated water should be prepared fresh daily.
